I kept these birds 15 years ago in north QLD. Is anyone still keeping and breeding this mutation . It occurs in wild populations as well.

Danny, that always seems to be the case when you want to try to establish something different. The orange cheeked cordons I discovered in amongst a box of 50 half coloured cordons. I obtained these whilst in Townsville through a backyard dealer, which apparently came up from Maryborough qld but the dealer would not disclose the breeders name and details. When they coloured up, they turned out to be 2 orange cheek cocks and 1 hen with a yellow tipped beak.
