Gouldian hen, What Colour am I (Sea Green)

Hi
I bred this hen last season but I'm not sure what colour she is, the green is Blue-ish green , the hed an intense red and her purple breast is almost as purple as a cock bird, the colours don't photograph very well but I thought I would post a few pictures of her and see if any body had any suggestions.
I have paired her up to a normal white breasted spilt blue cock bird and they have just started to breed so interested to see if the young have the same colour.
Edit 9-2-2012 - After several people thought she was a sea green I have updated the subject title to (Sea Green).

Any chance of her being a split blue? Im sure Im seeing a bluish tinge on some of my birds that are possible splits. Sort of like the sheen a eucalypt leaf has. Probably just wishful thinking but Im noting it in the breeding records just in case.

Could be a sea green (par blue). Don't know if this modification is here but it's certainly in Europe.

Nice intense colour on the head and chest. And could Diane be right, because I have read several articles that indicate split blues have a "bluer" green than normals. Hope to find out for myself over the next few years. If not Natambo could be right and you may have the start of a new mutaion for Australia. Someone has to be lucky every now and then.

If she is par blue it's dominant over blue but recessive to green apparently. You'll need to line breed to make sure, putting her to an unrelated normal is unlikely to reproduce the colour.

It's unlikley she is split for blue as she was bred from two normals which I bought from different breeders neither of which keep blue that I'm aware of, however I have paired her to a RH split blue as I had a spare and I noticed this morning she has started laying.
My feeling was she is either a Sea Green or possibly a Single Dark Factor.

hallo Simba.
She is a sea green in the first edition, best you can pair her to a blue purplebreast cock,to make the sea green abit more stronger.
Sea green you can see it's as follow, you have it who go to the green colour(your bird)75 %-25% green, then you have the colour wher the bleu is the main 25%-75% BLEU..
But it is to us breeders to find just by selection the 50% green-50% bleu in good combination.
By the way sea green must be a reduction from following pigments 50% yellow carotinide 50% black eumoline, and 50% light interfrention, only on the back colours.

Thanks Ger sounds like you have some experince with sea greens and some usefull advice, I don't have a spare Blue cock at the moment so I have paired her to a split blue, do you think that could produce a 50/50 seagreen ?

Simba.
It's easy mutations, solong you go in first edition to look to pigments on the birds, pigments are Black and Pheo eumoline Red and Yellow Creatinide And the bleu and purple light interfrention. What you doing whit the normal cock /bleu is bring in again the green colour, while split you can't see,you must have first a good adminstration from the last 5 yaers of the breeding from the the birds who are split,or you can find out by yourself, piar the splits together and there must comming bleu's.
It has noting to du with you can't trust the seller of the birds, when he is bringing in four let we say 2 years ago fresch blood he cuold bring in for example white breast who is in the birds who he bought, then he still could have split white breast in it.Iám personly will never give a penny extra for what Iám not can see on the bird(spit factor).best way is to do it by yourself whit a 100% adminastration.By the way you can maby ask the breeder or he nows more of the generations who go back on this brids,on the split factors.

Sory for my Englisch.
