This has been set up so that members can help us achieve the goal of getting a new forum server.
If you wish to enter the new forum all you need do is ask either an Administrator or Moderator for the password.

How is this working? What happens when I get a password? Why not just set a Oaypal account we can send money to?

After getting the password the bank details are available so that you can make a deposit by visiting your bank to make the deposit or via internet banking, depending on your preference.

Ok, now I think I understand.
1. There's a new subforum within AFF called "Donations for Server Upgrade" which requires a password.
2. I PM an admin person and they give me the password.
3. I use the password to enter the "Donations for Server Upgrade" subforum and then I'll be presented with the bank details.
4. I transfer my donation.
5. I hope others will do likewise.
6. If 5 occurs then I will shortly enjoy enhanced AFF server performance.
7. Many happy AFFers!
I think this is correct?
