Is this good enough for a fly dispenser?

The duskys aren't too keen on gentles so i thought id try to set a up a place where the pupae can hatch and hopefully the duskys can catch the flies.

Terracotta pot has a couple of inches of slightly damp potting mix plus maggots & their food. Top pot has one opening and fits securely.

I put it near one of their favourite spots, but anything new in the cage will be fully inspected - like immediately.

Really hope flies don't only hatch at night and the whole exercise is futile.

Honestly don''t know at this stage BB

Unlike everywhere else, we have been having a cold spell for the past 6 weeks or so. Hardly over 21oC most days.
I'm still waiting for the flies to hatch!
