the benny hill show

Well if your old enough to know what it is , you will understand what its like around here at the moment.
The last few days if I had a video recorder I could post a video here, in my large aviary I have with the finches a pair of bleeding heart pigeons and some brown quail, now where benny comes into it.
The male brown quail is persistant with the hen chasing her around the aviary while she is off the nest and chases her in to long grasses, then the male bleeding heart gets into it and starts chasing the male quail around the aviary floor, not quite running but its hilarious to watch weaving in and out of the plants . Then it just stops they have a rest for a few minutes then it starts again , not always with the hen quail be pursued by the male.
Maybe the pigeon doesn't like domestic violence as the male quail can be a bit rough at times .Then again its more like the coyote and the road runner would hate to see what would happen if he got hold of him well it keeps me amused for about half an hour in the evenings anyway...pete
