Metallic Starlings

The latest success (so far) three young in nest about 2 weeks old.
Open yellow beaks can be seen at very top of nest.

I've seen huge colonies of these in Qld but never expected any one to keep them. Tint, you're amazing, what you've got is a very special collection.

Thank you both, It's taken many years to acquire some of the species. Some of the zoos and only a handful of private keepers have them and only Taronga Park Zoo, Harry Carr and myself have bred them,that I know of. Please correct me if you know otherwise.

Well he is special and I do say that in the nicest way. Would be good to see how he does it all, as to breeding some of these softbills must be an art..... one day , well done ....pete

No, aparently some people (most) think that I'm talking about cockatoos if I mention "Glossies".
