Hi all, found a nest of young gouldians today to my surprise the parents took over an old abandoned Canary nest in some tree now that's determination as my boxes go in around second to third week of Feb.
Do you think that she will use this nest again. This is the first time ever for that they have breed in a Canary nest in a finch box or cane basket yes but not in a cup shape nest.

Just goes to show you can't stop the nature..... I have had them use same nest again and again as well as gone looking for new areas as well ...up to the birds themselves I think.....
