Im looking at getting some fawn and cinnomon diamonds,seller sent some photos,very nice birds but their colors dont seem to be all that different in the photos ,my question is what is a true way of telling and or describing this mutation,thanks in advance,garyh.

Here`s a few more.

My understanding is that a fawn is a dilute form of the natural colour whereas a cinnamon will appear as a dilute but will have red eyes. i believe that the cinnamon mutation is sex linked.

Silverfox,you are right Looking at DBs pics i would say they are cinnamins,DB tell us if they are sex linked or not The word fawn seems to cover a lot of mutations,but i'm staying out of this. Cheers Craig

Thanks for your comments,Craig ,silverfox and jayburd, i know you guys are very knowledgeable in this subject,and respect each ones opinions,but ,and there is always a but,so im guessing there is not a clear definite way of telling,or if so it is upto conjector ,thanks for your in put, garyh.

I bought the birds as fawns and unfortunatley i didnt breed them.Possibly my last foray into mutations of any sort.

That is a nice mutation .
