Is there any way of stopping our scaly breast from bathing in the evening?

He has a habit of doing it at about 8pm each night!!!

I don't really think we can remove his water for 12 hours?? :?

do you change its water late at night , as that can be a trigger , have you tried a smaller water container at night , but its probably attention seeking , has it only been happening since the arival of the ringneck....pete

Give him /her a tube type waterer at night and the bath bowl in the morning , would be a shame if it stopped bathing altogether .

Mine usually bath straight after a water change .

His water gets changed in the morning..

He's been doing it since he started bathing! He'd only be about 6 months old now..

I would've thought the water bowl he had was small enough, but he manages to get in there somehow :/ lol

As Kylie just mentioned, he seems to have a bath about the same time we go to have our showers in the evening lol

The sound of running water (your showers) is probably triggering him to bath, maybe try running the shower in the morning for 30 secs or so just to see if you can get him to bathe in the morning....my rainbow will have a bath when he hears the washing machine draining (he lived in the laundry for a while).
