BRU/Fidler softfood v Vetafarm Neocare

I've just about run out of my frozen "Fidler" sprout mix so was looking to buy some more BRU softfood. However, I have some neocare leftover from the last bunch of handraised Eckies. I'm thinking of using the neocare as finch soft food mixed with sprouts. The basic protein/fat/fibre percentages look similar.
I presume the BRU soft food would be preferable, but is there any reason I can't use neocare in the interim?

Thanks Myzo. Might do a 50/50 with the Neocare and BRU Softfood from Luke.
I also found a half full box of Passwells finch softfood in the back of the cupboard. 2009 use by date, so probably wise to bin that one!

What is the main difference between the two?????? Are they better than the selfmade eggfood?

The softfood is a high protein supplement, not a complete food.
Neocare is a complete hand-rearing formula with probiotics etc primarly designed for hand-raising parrots.
Since Sam appears to be using it as a supplement, either product would work ok, depending on what else you are feeding and what you are trying to achieve and which one the birds prefer.

I use the neo care when hand rearing very young birds .
Ive always wondered about the probiotics though . Would they still be active , given the long shelf life and being a dry formula ?
