They're still sitting, so I'll give it two more days then remove the eggs.
Oh well, I suppose it's to be expected :P I've got gouldians due next week too!

I guess we all expect every egg to result in a healthy fledgling. In my experience this expectation often results in disappointment. A touch of pessimism is a better strategy. Expect zero chicks and be pleasantly surprised if one fledges and ecstatic if you get more than one. And never count them as part of your collection until they're independent.

Well I finally gritted my teeth and cracked open the eggs this morning... Looked like they'd been fried. Little shriveled (extremely smelly) bits and pieces inside :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :cry:
Oh well maybe next time.
