As much as it scares me to think that i wont be able to buy normal type common finches in the near future, i find that bird pretty stunning.

I never see this Photo's but this are not lutino's.
This is only a Pastel,Lutino's must be yellow and not yellow whit a green on the back,it's shows there is a lot of Black eumoline in this bird.
It not nessesary to move the photo's, while this gentilmen will never complianing for copyright,I no him he is living near me.

Regards Ger.

Sorry for my english.

Gerr
If you can contact him and he agrees we would put them on the Forum but we need permission.
We have to be careful as we do not have the funds to fight a copyright case.
By the way your English is fine, far better than my Dutch.
Keep well

I can't see any green on its back? And definitely has red eyes.
What is the definition of a pastel? I thought it was a dilute version of the normal (and would have dark eyes).

Well, i do not see any green feathers in the back, too but i have my doubts if that bird is a Lutino. There are several RFPF today that shows a full yellow body color and to produce red eyes in a foto, is not very dificult ir our days. If soo, to tell you the truth i was expecting a very diferent bird.

E orix, this fotos where in a site saling birds and promoting it. Theiy have no registration, so anyone else can use them. To avoid this, they should be registred in the name of those o produced them. And if this is a such a secret, it is too strange they appear in the net, like this, no??

Hi Gustavo,
photoshoped or not (but I can't understand why someone would try to sell a non existing bird), that's the correct "look" for a lutino parrot finch: yellow body, red feathers unchanged and most important, bright red eyes. Pastel mutation doesn't affect the eye color.
