Yes their needs are virtually the same and don't put them together as they will cross

I have found red stawberrys are very vocal during the night and especially a couple of hours before dawn and inturn attract cats and night birds,has anybody else had this problem? Cheers Craig

I have with orange breasts. when i get up for work while it's still dark i often hear them, quite loud and not all that pleasant.

But apart from that they are great little birds

Yes, at my place several years ago it got to the point where my wife threatened to kill them if I didn't get rid of them because of the cock's calling at 4 am- and they were outside!

Does Anyone On Here Breed Strawberrys ?? Im After Some I Went to A guys house today on a aviary tour and seen them they are a stunning birds and do well in a mixed aviary , he had them with ob waxbills , bluecaps and painted and all of the birds had baby very amazing site .

Strawberries should NEVER be mixed with OB waxbills, they're closely related and will easily crossbreed.
