Hi All,

I brought a 2kg bag of livamol from a horse feed shop and want to no if anyone has used it to feed to finches.Firstly was just going to try it on some bengalese and zebras. Its great for horses and Cattle was told it had cod liver oil in it.

Cheers

Yes I use it. The best way I find to use it is to add 10ml of oil (sunflower, canola, garlic, cod liver, whatever) to 1 kg of seed ( I use red pannicum due to its widespread popularity/palatability), shake/stir/mix then add 2 heaped teaspoons of livamol & shake/stir/mix again then feed.

Yes we use it too and have been for about two year, about a teaspoon on about a cup of our mix(sprouted seed, greenseed, finch cake)
