I rang today as i hadnt received my annaul return for this year. The rule is simple-no return, no licence and i need to freight some birds so i thought i would sort it out. I was informed they had wavered returns for this year and had renewed everyones licence til 2014, all for free of course . Bless em

*shakes head at the generosity*
Now waiting for the onslaught of howls of despair and jealously from those not lucky enough to be dealing with such an enlightened parks and wildlife permit division.

That's the sort of relationship we all dream of having with our licensing authorities! Congratulations!

was talking to an ex parky here the other day and it seems that in Qld the licensing/permiting/movement authorities are done by around 2-3 people for the whole state. I know that there have been some not so nice types in thiss organisations over the years, but really spare a thought for the staff trying to admister a system for the whole of qld - the govt either needs to get serious or stop medling/hindering. This may change with can do as he may allow many things in parks that once werent possible so maybe 3 wil become 2 and 2 wil become 1 and for our tax dollars we will have to logon, do it our self and print it out at home and pay double what we are paying now and they call it efficiency gains, stretegic reform process or any other name you want to call it. Pay more get less.

Isn't it all done nowadays over the internet, I didn't even get the book this year, Import/Export permits are also applied over the net, you save $3. :geek:
