Hi all, I have just purchased a couple of kakarikis. I have never kept them before. Does anyone know anything about their genetics? Eg mutations are they recessive, dominant and such? Apparently I have a normal green male that has white patches on his feet and a cinnamon pied hen. Not sure if the pied is carried like cockatiels for example?

Depends on what they are split for . I had a normal boy and cinnamin hen ...didnt breed and were disruptive so sold them , new owner gets Lutinos and Cinnamin babies :wtf: may have been a bit hasty with that sale
