Hello all, I would like to take this oppertunity to indroduce myself and my birds....
My name is Luke.
I started keeping finches in the 1970's. That time I was living in the Netherlands. I was keeping Gouldians and Star finches and some other Austraian finches, keeping them the Europian way I had them there for 10 years, in 1983 I migrated to Australia, setteld in Melbourne that time and started again keeping Australian finches. In 1993 I moved to Newcastle.
February this year I started again. I converted a garden shed 6m x 2.5m in a bird room. Build two cages 3m(l) x 1m(w) x 1.80m(h) and 6 holding/breeding cages 1.20 x 0.50 x 0.50m.
I keep currently 6 pairs of Gouldian finches (all breeding right now), 4 star finches and a pair of Scarlet Chested Parrots.
