My pair of zebra's built a nest ( no eggs yet ) but they don't really go in there during the day only during the night, is this normal behavior for zebra's without eggs? ( the maximum amount of time spent in the nest per
day is about 30 mins with breaks in-between )
Cheers Mike

It might take them a while, depending on whether they've bonded. I've had ones that have simply had no interest in each other, but as soon as I give them a new partner, start popping out eggs within 2 days!

If zebra finches don't incubate till the last egg is laid, but they roost in the nest isn't that incubating the eggs? if it is won't the chick Die in shell during the day when the bird's aren't incubating???
sorry if it's too confusing
Cheers Mike
