I've just noticed tonight that in some posts there are random words that are hyperlinked and a box comes up about text enhance, and it's all like "Win an Ipad" or something....

Is this new or have I just totally not noticed it before?!?!
I'm a bit like wtf is up with that??

Haven't noticed anything on my computer or (incidentally) iPad. Can you post a link to a post with this?

I'd be running a virus scan on my computer Venetta, next might be little blue pill ads... Though it could have been a popup from another site you had open... Maybe facespace?

Yep you got a funky thingy happening ....VIRUS SCAN ASAP ....

venetta, had that happen about a week ago, it came from downloading a program, forget which one, had to go into programs and uninstall it. The download, happed when downloading Ipod software.

I get the same thing happening, there is always one word on the page that is underlined and if you run the mouse across it then an ad appears. I first noticed it when the forum changed to the new server.

Didn't happen when the forum changed for me, I downloaded a program, Norton's even approved, then some words were underscored..... wasn't real happy about it, hubby had me to uninstall the newly download program - problem disappeared. Will ask him if he remembers the program, but I delete browser history after each use. I remember, googling and it stated the program acted as a trojan, or mal ware that caused hyper text / hper link.
