Thanks tiaris didn't know that they would be rare over in Europe also, just thought that they breed alot of birds there they may have painteds in good numbers. It was a thought since sierranomad had a thought of keeping them. Hands down OB.

sierranomad, get finch breeders in your country, there are some painted breeders, midwest, that sell at a more reasonable price. Watch out for the orange breast you buy, some breeders cross them with strawberries.
Thanks. I'm going with the goldbreasts. That'll be the final addition to my collection, in the foreseeable future. Especially with Tiaris comment about not keeping such an expensive pair with other birds.
