well i have finaly received them and have tested them out, but not on the birds yet. have put a few mealworms in and tested it out. it works pretty good too but cant controll how many are coming out either. the only problem is getting them in as you cant take the actual container thing of(not that i know of without breaking it) so you have toseparate the worms from the bran or wat ever you use and put the worm in a couple at a time. i am thinking of maybe buying a small funnel and this shoud hopefully work alot better. you cant put too much bran in otherwise it clogs the shute that drops the food. i probaly wont have time this week to mount them in the avairys as im a bit busy so ill have to wait till next week or so. then ill probaly have to make somethen to mout them on.the come with a mout but it is more suited to the thickness of tank glass bout 5-10mm wide so ill have to make something up. ill let yous know how they go when installed. but they do look promising so far
thanks chris
thanks chris

i wonder if you could put some rice in there like you do a salt shaker to stop the salt blocking the holes(helps to absorb moisture i think) it might work what about pollard instead of bran its only to help keep the mealies from cooking themselves...pete
