great to see the funds result in a marked difference in biodiversity.
i live in a farm area where replanting has/is taking place so i hope we can restore some of the balance to nature.
i have noticed pardaloates, thornbills, wrens, robins and others hopefully making a comeback.
some are obviously seasonal and nomadic while others sedentary, but from my view its great to notice more variety than galahs and mynahs.
a next-door neighbour accessed on of these grants and has planted several thousand trees/bushes as corridors around paddocks and is still planting.
the last 2 good seasons has seen them generate into significant stands now providing good cover and feed.
government handouts are often wasted but at least this one seems to be bearing fruit.
