ok ok i admit it Im addicted ....cant go anywhere now without wanting to check out local pet shops for finches .
Latest acquisition a pair of gold finches gawjus looking buggers they are , next on the wishlist a pair of jacarinis hmmmmmm

jacarinis,they are funny looking little birds.I think the cocks look like miniture ravens.

My addiction has grown to the point where I can't go for a drive without noticing grass seed heads, nesting grass or ti trees etc.

Think Ill go out to the car and remove that carrying box. ;)

i am the same with seeding grasses and always on the lookout for termites and forked sticks. just can't help it even look at peoples plants while iam at work to take cuttings from ....pete

My carry box stays in the boot of my car, just in case

i used to go hunting for years,then when i got into birds,I would find myself walking through the bush looking into the air for birds.When my mate looked i would have to pretend i was interested in the rabbits again.

wonder if the rabbits know how lucky they are
