Diamond doves?

Do diamond doves prefer nesting in the highest possible location? or are they not fussed about where the nest is. (without using multiple nests).

My Diamonds seem to nest at above medium height in canary nesting cup nests Dont like been up high in nest as well as low nests

They are in a cage at the moment because the budgies are in the aviary that i'm putting them in, so for now to many nests would be a bit crowded. They will be in the aviary in about 2 weeks.

My experience was that they do prefer platforms or pans at mid-level in the aviary which makes checking easy. Mine or rather I preferred to start off the lining as they make very flimsy nests and if they are allowed to do their own thing then about 50% of the time it will end in tragedy which wasn't always a bad thing as they are so prolific and the market is limited.
