I get an ordinary finch mix 20kg for about $30. To pay $52 I would certainly want more variety and quality.

Regarding the seed you get in NZ,have you done any tests to see what percentage will actually sprout. I was of the opinion that alot of your
imported seed has been radiated when it entered your country.

About 95% of it sprouts. We have almost 90% grown here in New Zealand.

I'd say he's been digitally enhanced - either that or my RC Cordons are very poor examples!

Topflight seeds here in NZ are of a very high standard all home grown.
Iam at the moment trying separate seeds rather than a mix.

Even if the colour has been enhanced, the large area of blue and the large cheek patches indicate he is a ripper according to what I like in Cordons.

...Yeh, like those ripper blue-caps with the really deep blue you occasionally see.

I had a bloke enquiring about RC Cordons who said Berkshire Park Bird Farm were selling them for $150 a pair. I wonder, perhaps they've got some like this one? I've been charging $70 or $80 but I never really know what to charge for them - current prices I've heard in Sydney range from $50 to $150 pair.
