Just spoke to Lorraine at the Sanctuary and she tells me there are still quite a few vacancies for those who have left it a bit late.
I am sure it will be a great weekend and I know a lot of forum members are already booked in.

Healsville Convention
I hope those who can make it do so.If Conventions aren't supported then obviously they will cease and that would be bad for Aviculture in general
It surprises me how often people are negative about the Conventions yet they have never been to one.I guess they are smart and know every thing.
They have no idea,personally I think they are great not just the lectures but the total package,putting names to faces,making contacts and so on.
Sadly I think this will be the last Convention held in Victoria for a long long time as I doubt if there are others capable of organising one.
If anyone is not sure may I suggest you make the decision and attend it will be money well invested.

I have just finished talking to some of the finch society members in the Hunter and Sydney. Hopefully some of them will fill the spaces left by the Victorians.

Just for the record, all the aviculturalists giving talks are Forum members. It would be nice to support them.
