How many different breed of finches would you be able to breed in the same avery. Is it better to keep all breeds separate to have success with breeding?

It is dependant on the size of the avairy most of all. Then the types of finches. How big/small is your avairy? And welcome to the forum.

Keep all the munia and mannikins species separate as will hybridize same with parrotfinches.black throats, masked, and longtails. All the Pytilias and Cordon Bleu and red strawberry and orange breast and cut throats and aberdeen separate as will hybridize.

Also try keep subspecies separate like black and white rump double bars and red and yellow bill longtails and red brow firetails and black throat parson separate from black throat diggles separate from hybridizing

This one of my aviaries and none hybridize
3 pair of Cut Throat
3 pair of Parson
3 pair of Blue Faced Parrotfinch
3 pair of spice
