Have some of this years fledgling's getting a bit frisky. They fledged in early febuary the two that are looking at nest site are not related. They are in an aviary with plenty of nests etc.
What sould I do ?????? let them go or seperate them cause the are so young .

Let them go to see if they are interested in doing anything.My Young birds born in January seemed interested in breeding in may they made nests and laid no eggs still mucking around making nests.

In my oppinion i woud seperate them they are to young they can breed but
they will be better birds next breeding season.

I'm with Flavio. They'll mature into far better specimens if allowed to complete their moult into adult plumage without being rundown by premature breeding attempts. If allowed to mature with the least stress they are far more likely to have a healthier, longer & more productive breeding life as well as being better able to produce better quality offspring.

Think of it this way. They are the equivalent of 12/13year old children/teens. They can but would you really want to encourage this, from a health point of view?
