Thanks for that info Frank.
It must have been great fun working with that bird, particulalrly at feeding time.
What a pity you were unable to find a mate for it and observe its breeding behaviour.

Thanks, yes, I was very lucky. They have been bred, although not often. Unfortunately, except for a Barn Owl release program, owls at the Bx Zoo were mainly held for exhibition rather than breeding during those years. Best regards, Frank
