Sick baby blue Gouldian

Hi all,
My first and only baby blue isn't looking so well.
Tired eyes
Fluffy
Dirty vent
Breathing hard
I have him inside in a nice warm spot, with one of my UV fish tank lamps.
Adelaide has been wet and cold for a while now, but all the splits are in good health.
I started antibiotics yesterday.
Is there anything else I should give him, or do?
Worming is all upto date as well.
Thanks
Jason

Sorry to hear that Jason but the bird is presenting the signs that were around a few years ago when the blue mutation was being established,There is not much you can do about it and it will most certainly die.IMO Craig

Thanks.
His parents come from good blood lines.
I just must have been unlucky if this is the case.
I will keep him warm and see how he goes.

Thanks everyone.
He did die this week, but he seemed happy with his warm hospital cage.
On a good note, having a cute, nice sounding Gouldian in the house, has made my wife want another inside bird.
She normally wouldn't have any interest in my hobby.
See Ya!
