It looks melanistic? does it get access to sunlight? ....unusual to say the least.. :think:

Its a Mutation I have more hens than cocks They are recessive.I have only 2 cocks and 3 Hens.There in a covered aviary access to sunlight and That bird Is 4 Years old and has not moulted out.I open my aviaries everyday the suns up.

I've seen induced melanism in Cutthroats a few times. In each case the birds moulted out to normal.
