Definate no...it would have to extremely large aviary and lots of cover..otherwise would be a lot of legless finches..

You can house Elegant,Scarlet Chested,Bourke,Blue Winged,Rock or Turquoisine Parakeets with Finches depending on your aviaries size.But Dont house Alexandrines with Finches :thumbup:

Gees !! Thanks guys i almost bought an alexandrine. Lucky i have you to point in right direction. Do they hurt finches.. How horrid..

Alexandrines will kill all finches in the aviary till its empty if its not a big aviary

ring necks are just as bad...how big is this cage of yours anyways....that way we can give you a guide as to how many you puy in there.... pete

I knew a guy who put painted quail in his alexandrine aviary but never bred one even though they sat on eggs.One day he went out to feed the alexandrines and he noticed each one was happily munching away on just hatched quail. Craig :shock:

We used to have alexandrines with finches etc at work.... But we took the out for the above reasons. And that's in a 100m free flight aviary!!!

Its only 3x3x2 but i thought id mix it up a bit. Not too worry... Ill stick with finches..

If you wanted to make things a little more interesting, perhaps add a pair of Diamond/Peaceful doves and/or King Quail?
