Can't log onto forum with Firefox

I'm in the process of switching browsers from Opera to Firefox, but for some reason I can't seem to log in using Firefox. When I go to the login page and enter my details and hit the 'login' button it shows me as logged in at first, but as soon as it automatically redirects to the board index it immediately shows me as logged out. 
The same thing happens if I try and manually browse to another page, or it takes me back to the login page if I try to access a members only area or my personal information (such as my PM's).
I can login perfectly normally using another browser, such as Opera or Google Chrome.
I guess the issue must be one of the settings in Firefox, but I'm damned if I can find it.
Please help!
