Good it's settling in if I were you I'd get my hands on a copy of Danny's book, a guide to pigeons doves and quail... Absolutely the best book on the subjects ever written (and my favourite of the a guide to series)

Birds I own/have owned: Budgerigars, **Zebra Finches**, **Star Finches**, Canaries, Diamond doves... Rocky the Galah! & Cocky the Sulphur Crested 'too

Ive also seen chocolate spotteds down at the bay, Those ones eat fish and chips, rubbish from bins and stuff, I think that may affect their plumage

Is there a market for these if you happen to breed any ? My personal opinion is "why would you ".

I found the chocolates ugly myself - they were too dark and not classy. They looked dirty. I like my cinnamons though. They have their own prettiness about them. I'm sure there is a market for them amongst the various sanitariums that allow pets to be kept.desertbirds wrote:Is there a market for these if you happen to breed any ? I don't like chocolates either normals are much better.
