Fairfield bird sale

I went to the Fairfield bird sale today, lots of people, lots of birds..mainly parrots though. I have to apologise for the poor quality of the pictures, there were too many people there to even get a good look at the birds. I used a small camera to take the pictures, I am too self concious to use my larger camera in crowds. I have tried to include the bird prices in the pictures.
I behaved myself and although sorely tempted kept my money in my pocket.

thanks for the pics Framed. nice to see whats available in different places & the price ranges as well.
some of the birds didnt look all that good though :(

wow I saw a nice pair of cordons a pet shop today for 55 dollars and they want 80 at the show ....it pays to shop around .......nice to see whats on sale and prices thanx .........

plenty of pics, thanks framed, how did that Blue Gouldian look in the flesh? in the pic it looked not to nice, do u know how much the spilt blue was?

still yet to see a blue gouldian face to face!!

I was not very impressed with the quality of the finches for sale either.
There were some nice yellow gouldians, I only saw the one blue gouldian there and was totally unimpressed.

I know what you mean about taking pics. I did ask one of the club stewards if it would be ok, but you never know how individual sellers will react.
