I thought it was time to show you all my hand tamed budgies.
I let them fly around our rumpus room weekly, the room measures about 13m long by 5m wide, so thats a descent flight for them.
Here they are:

Thanks, I bred the bird in pic 2 & 3 at the start of this year
And the other yellow bird (mother of bird in pic 2 & 3) wasn't tame before today, my cousin came over and we tamed it within 10 minutes by holding the tame birds in front of the other bird then it realized we aren't going to hurt it and now it's like it was hand reared
Sorry if that was confusing  :shifty:

I'm hand rearing 2 of the psychos at the moment and they are driving me NUTZ ....

I can put my hand into the weaning cage and pull it out with both them latched on tight to me by the beak , yes ouch ....

They wont come to me for a feed where every other parrot Ive reared will come to me after 3 days ...

never ever again and did I mention the constant , incessant noise ?

Anyhoo yours a gawjus , well done ...mine :shifty: well i cant wait to sell the little bastards . :D
Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Normal blue hen, Opaline green Aussie pied hen and green Danish pied (sex?) So you have done well, as hens are usually harder to tame than cocks.
