I had the pleasure of hearing Gary McCrae speak about his collection of native and exotic finches and softbills as well as his personal philosophies on keeping and breeding birds. The meeting was extremely well attended with standing room only in the venue.

I had the chance to catch up with West finch and Bgould as well as introduce myself to Gary and Tiaris. I also spied Kevin and GP finches from AFF. Not sure if any others were in attendance.

One of the out of towners also managed to win the raffle of a pair of lesser red brows (photos to follow).

Thanks Gary for making the big trip. The meeting was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.

gary mcrae certainly is a legendary breeder so i hope you picked up some ideas.
that tamworthian pictured who won the lessers is also a "fair' breeder so they have gone to a great home.
