Roosting?

Do Star finches roost? I bought a pair on Sunday, and today it was cold, rainy and even hailing, so I was wandering if I could put a nest box in the quarantine cage for them.
If I do put in a box it's still pretty roomy in their cage.

Not likely to go into a nest box. A small dense branch which they can perch behind may give them some sense of security in their quarantine cage.

They usually don't use roosting nests only.

They usually use brush & nest cylinder.
