I'm a very sad Niki! I went overseas for a month, leaving my birds in good hands, only to come back and find 4 adult zebs gone, as well as a full clutch of 5 that fledged before I left, and some nestlings. Turns out some mice have moved into the neighbourhood- my partner killed 3 that were in the aviary while I was away. We've put out baits, and haven't seen any droppings for a week, so fingers crossed that we've killed them all.
Very upset, as they were all dilute blue adults (3 cocks, 1 hen), and 2 cocks were ones that I had bought recently to add some new blood to my stock :( The 3rd cock was my pride and joy- a beautiful, large male with lovely colouring. His mate is looking rather lonely now, poor thing.

Very sorry to hear that.
I had a similar thing happen to me on my return from a months holiday in Europe a year ago, lost most of my collection.
Hope you can find some equally nice ones to fill the gap.

Sorry to hear. Mice are a nuisance and a half.

Thanks guys. Still no sign of any droppings, so fingers crossed that they're gone.
