Recent Fledglings!

Todays great weather has inspired two of the 12 young long-tail chicks out of the nest. The 2 nests are up high in the aviary so I've monitored the chicks progress by having a bit of a poke around to see whats going on as far as numbers of chicks are concerned. Great big clutches for these first time parents! 
Lots of live food, seeding grasses, and soaked seed has resulted in some very happy and productive longtails!
