My hen has been building a nest for the last week or so, hopefully she will get her act together soon.mrscibbo wrote:have just fledged my first 2 for the season quite happy, have 2 pairs due to hatch very shortly but cant do any nest inspection as they both nested in hard to see spots, how is everyone else doing?
If so it will be her 3rd nest for the season. Count so far, 2 fully fledged from 1st nest, the only
young to hatch from 2nd nest died on a hot day in Nov when it jumped from the nest to escape
the heat and got it's leg tangled in some nest material. So we just wait and see.
