One of my baby stars is very pale-bodied compared to its siblings.

Compared with its siblings in this shot:

Can anyone tell me what it will look like when it grows up?

Cheers,
mm.

Thats very different to the established Star mutations. I'd like to see how it matures.
Fawns & Cinnamons have a paler beak at fledging so its not one of them. The pale grey look indicates something different. Do you have Plumheads in the aviary too?

No, no plumheads in there.
I'll post more photos in a few weeks.

I've not seen one like this before.

Always interesting to see anything differents progress pics. Sometimes they are just a bit different to start with then conform. And sometimes someone discovers a recessive gene in their stock. Or a completely new mutation.

It's looking much the same as of this morning.
It's siblings are showing some colour in the face, but the pale one isn't yet.
I say siblings, as I have seen them being fed together by stars.
So it's either a weird star or a changeling chick...

I'll post more photos when it looks different.
