Hi gentle finch-folk -

There's been a lot of noise coming from the tea-tree since 1st of December and today five new baby redbrows emerged - pretty undercooked if you ask me!! The parents are doing a sterling job, and I'm amazed at how quickly the young get the whole flying gig - in a matter of hours they've gone from fluttering along the ground to metre-or-so flights with pretty accurate landings! Here's pics of three of the five - not that I can tell them apart!

Just in time for xmas - now to get the little bows wrapped around them...

it is a very cool sound, isn't it - tho i imagine it's a hellish sound for the parents - MORE!!! MORE!!! MORE!!!
