I reared a fallen nestling when I was a kid. Lovely little thing, use to free fly and come when called. Sit on my shoulder and chatter while I was working on the farm. Kept hoping it would start flying with the wild ones but it was too bonded to me. Maybe they stick to family groups even when in a large flock.
