Hi
What is your first instinct about this? Only one bird is affected, a blue Gouldian male...
- Sitting too quietly, eyes sometimes closed. e.g. Ignored green seeding grass that other birds jumped on.
- Chest rounded/puffed forward.
- Diarrhoea. I happened to be standing by the aviary when he expelled quite an impressive jet of fluid. I could not locate it afterwards to tell you more!
- Not fluffed (but weather is very warm and sunny).
- No discharge from eyes or nose.
- Not turning head to sleep.
Thanks for your insights and advice.
Diagnosis please - Gouldian illness

Sounds like typical Blue Gould....I would put it on heat, and get poop sample to vet?

I second pilots suggestions at least after that you will know which medication family to try.
