So they just get the softfood, or is there another bowl for seed? Mine do make a lot of mess in their seed bowl (typical BQ platelet manoeuvre), despite it being in the deep kitty litter trays.

So you just leave it in there, and scrape up the dirtier areas with a dustpan or something? I imagine it would be very good for insect production!
The softfood sounds very similar to my own (couscous based) recipe, I might try combining mine, yours and VR1s all together and see what happens!

When we see good numbers out here its always triggered by a rain event. Rain=greenery=livefood. Think about when you want them to fire up Jayburd,i heard your`e heading interstate for a bit. you might be leaving chicks for someone else to care for.

awesome breeding seasons since the floods laid fresh soil along the river and seeding grasses have been plentiful > this year no seeding grasses and very little thistle and as such a very ordinary breeding season .
