I have been having trouble breeding my King Quail.
I have 2 female and 1 male in my avairy, over a few months the hens have made many nest and sat on the eggs but never any hatchings,i think the male is a dud i have seen them mating.?????

Another problem i have, today i got another male and put him in the avairy with the other three quail but they ae chasing him all over the avairy i found him on a perch.
Will it take time for them to get along

Any advice would be great

I think you should only have 1 male in the aviary. I am not 100% sure, so I would be taking the dud out.

They can be quit evil the old quail...

I have noticed my 2 hens get along and the one who does not sit on eggs warms the others babies and even showed them how to feed...actually that same bird let my painted babies sit in the nest with her of a night when they fell out of the nest too young....

Though sometimes this same bird has a brain fart and gets a bit excited and attacks some of the babies.
