I have tried Passwells soft food, finch crumble and egg n biscuit but they just seem to not want to try.

Have 3 baby gouldians, Orange Breasts on eggs and Painteds building nests but they don't seem tempted. The OBs and Painteds love mealworms though.

Any suggestions?

Hard boiled egg , cut in half and let them pick at it ??
Wholegrain bread dipped in soy , oat or any of those faux milk drinks .

OR have a break and try again later .Cant force them to eat and it only stresses you out trying .

Or whack a canary in with them and hope they do what the canary does which is mostly eat and poop .

Hi AB,the only i got mine to eat PFSF was to mix it with soaked or spouted seed but you are right,put it dry in a bowl and they don't know what it is and wont touch it.The other way is to put a learner bird like a canary or parrot finch in with them. Cheers Craig

As Craig said, you need to mix any powdered foods with other palatable foods (such as sprouted seed or green "milk" seed) which the birds already keenly eat to initially catch their interest & to ensure they take a reasonable amount of it. On its own, a dry powdered food offers no more interest to birds than would to us - fairly unappealing & downright uncomfortable to eat not to mention totally unnatural.

I mix my pass well in with my chitted seed etc.you can make it stick to the seed also by adding liquid vitamins or cod liver oil etc. To the seed then add the soft food.

Some yummy looking cooked mixes in here for sale might tempt them .

If they are eating the mealworms, why not just add greens, greens and more greens.
