I have a couple of baby double bars that fledged just before i moved 5 weeks ago and i noticed one of them has a black breast between the lines. As this is the first time i've bred them is this normal? will it moult out?

I've read about this a couple of times - for memory it just moults out

The shade between the bars in young tends to be dark at first, then fade. But you never know. So let us know.

Will do, its that dark I can't pick out the bars.

Mine have always been grey between the bars, but I read last night about ones like yours and ones with a fully black face mask popping up occasionally. R. Kingston says they all moult out.
