Beautiful!
What a happy sight.
Any tips on successful breeding?

Thanks for posting the photos westfinch. Matty these birds take a lot of live food when breeding, this pair feeding mostly on moths caught in moth trap and lots, lots of crickets. Mealworms were also avaliable to them but not a lot taken.

The best part is it seems the parent aren't in a panic and settled it in the brush.
Leave them be for a few days and all will be well
Great news.

At this stage unsure how many chicks there are. Eorix it appears that the pair have alread selected another nesting site in other side of aviary shelter. Iaos my better half just commented how pretty the parents are but still cant beleive I would spend $300 on a pair of birds. Well thats what I told her they cost anyway
